Precise Lapping is equipped with state of the art lapping and free abrasive machining systems, which allows us to take on
virtually any flat surfacing application. From single & double side lapping & polishing, from parts as small as .125"
in diameter up, to parts as large as 60" in diameter, to parts as thin as .002. Precise Lapping has the skill & technology
to meet even the most demanding flat surfacing requirements.

Precise Lapping has always been a leader in flat lapping technologies; for example, we were the first job shop in U.S. with
double side lapping capabilities. We work in the aerospace, medical, automotive, semiconductor, thin film head, fiber optic,
mechanical seal, and commercial industries, just to name a few.
The applications for lapping vary from the ultra precision that most people think of when they think of lapping to first surfacing
on a casting to high stock removal, that can replace a grinding, milling or a turning operation and all this can be easily
done while little or no stress is introduced into the part.
